Vintage Batik Pillow Slip Cover

Last summer I found this vintage cotton hand dyed batik in an

antique shop in downtown Charleston, West Virginia.

The detail is stunning. Look at the border. A very unique peice of fabric.

I love, love, love, batik. In prior life I must have lived in India, or Bali.

I can tell by the detail, and the border on the edge that it is handmade.

Don’t ask me how I know, I just know. It’s the colors and the process.?

Everything I make is an original design

This is the finished chair in my studio to sit and meditate, read, design.

For the cushion, I just made a simple pillow case type slip cover.

I still have the piece with the border.
