I joined the Creative Everyday Challenge for 2011 even though it’s technically still 2010
I will be posting weekly through my blog what I am creating and then sharing with dozens of artists around the world. I love technology and the community it creates!
I made this pillow from a remnant purchased at my newest “favorit-est” fabric store Santa Fe Fabrics.
It is pure whimsy. The buttons are from my vintage collection. (old button jar)
I quilted it with a stipple stitch.(#39) I’m still getting acquainted with my Bernina Sewing Machine. It’s 4 years old and I haven’t even worn the new off of it yet.

PS Technically it is a Bernina Sewing “Computer”. “Machine” still rolls off my tongue. Call me old fashioned.

Oooooooooohhhhhhh I love this and it makes me want to get my sewing machine out again, too! That stitch is a perfect addition to the yummy colors. I thought you were in Santa Fe reading this post but now see it is a fabric company from there. Close enough for me! lol
Oh my goodness . . . I just read your bio and I just want you to know that I too, have red hair (a lot darker than yours and now going grey!), am from Kansas, but now live in Texas and I'm a CPA who wants to be able to CREATE all day long. Unfortunately for now the bills need to be paid!! So, my creativity is still there, just not as prevalent as the "real" job. Someday . . . Oh, yeah, I have a Bernina also and I love it!!! You'll make fast friends with yours. Have FUN!!!

THAT pillow is awesome Terah!!! I love all the color. Im a super novice sewer. I can do the bare mimimum with my kenmore sewing machine but I have lusted like a tech junkie after those bernina computers. I wouldn't know the first thing to do with it but it looks so HAWT! lol
