Everyone has a dream.

I’ve had many.

About 7 years ago I started “Cowgirl-Red”. I wasn’t sure where she was going to go.

I set goals. I got coaching. I planned. I blogged. I sewed. I lived my crazy life.

Cowgirl-Red is pretty much just like me. (Actually, she is me.)

She pretty much goes wherever she wants to.

“We” got invited to share a booth at the Kansas Championship Ranch Rodeo to sell my jackets and pillows. I said “Yep” without hesitation.  Hesitation leaves room for reason so I try to never practice hesitation.

At the time, I only had ZERO jackets in stock. So this here is my essay on “How I Spent My Summer Vacation”.  Life is one big vacation if you are doing what you love.  And I love “Cowgirl-Red”.

The Ranch Rodeo weekend was a success.  The first time I ever put my art out to the public.  The internet doesn’t count as “public” to me. “Public” is being there in person. Standing there watching while people look at your art, talk about it, and buy it.

Yes, they bought it!  They really bought it.

It was a wonderful weekend, full of encouragement and new friendships.

 I was humbled by it.

I can’t wait to do it again!!!

Love,  Cowgirl-Red   aka  Terah.

PS.  A big thank you to my dear friend and creative buddy,  The Prairie Rose!!

  1. Congrats on your success, not a surprise!

  2. Like Cheri says, not surprised. I am glad it went well and you have a new audience for your wears. They are good looking.
