Since receiving our pink slip from T.H., I decided it was best to move Playboy and Blitz over to my temporary home while we wait for our severance pay. The neighbor’s ranch where I’m living has a nice barn and stalls. I hauled some hay and got them settled. (sort of)
I was all singing that Carrie Underwood song in my head feeling a little melancholy.
“This is our temporary home, it’s not where we belong……
Windows and rooms that we’re passing through …… blah blah blah”
I no more had time to think:
“Oh look! How cute! A little Mr. Ed style door for Blitz.”
And Blitz passed right through that window. She can read my mind! And she didn’t even take a run at it.
Think about it. The pony is thigh-high. The window is waist-high.
She jumped over it in one single bound!
People, I think I need to take this show on the road.
Blitz! The mind-reading-flying pony!
Love, Cowgirl Red aka Terah
P.S. And that is how the Universe helps me heal. No time to feel sorry. Only time to laugh……. at myself.
Look how she stands up on her hind tippy toes to give Playboy a pony-smooch.
What a sweet smart pony. Forget being cooped up in this spring weather. Get out and enjoy it. Big hugs…
She is smart and she knows what she wants. Always. xoxo Terah
Wow. Things have changed since I last read your blog. Stuff going on here too…but completely different stuff…it’s all good. Hope you keep being real…and HappY!
Thanks Annie. Real is the only way to be. All is well in my world. xoxo Terah
Romeo, Romeo – Where for art thou?
HAHA Patricia. Romeo is fine. He is turned out in a big pasture with the big horses. He does better out there in the bigger country. xoxo Terah
Miss seeing the little guy in your blog.
‘Wherefore’ – damned auto spell. But, you knew what I meant.
What a sweet sweet story and photos. I have two horses down the road from me that I refer as “my neighbors.” When I walk up to the fence they come to me now and let me nuzzle and blow in their noses. It couldn’t be the peppermint candy, could it?? Thanks for sharing your world with all of us. It encourages me. My sheroes have always been cowgirls!
Many blessings of love and joy to you all,
Elizabeth
