My brother, Ross, called me yesterday.  I had been trying to reach him for a while just to check in. Turns out he was in Africa for 3 weeks hunting something. (Yawn)  I told him I would have to call him back because I was “at work”.  He burst out laughing and said “What happened?  Did hell freeze over?”

Then I burst out laughing.  I think it just might have.

Let me fill you in.   I have said repeatedly that I would never, never, never  go back to work as an accountant. And one can always count on a sibling to bust you out on your “never say never” statements. (He replaced our mom in that department. Basically he was next in line to the throne.)

I know I haven’t been current on my blogging duties. And I apologize for that. But it seems that ever since the day of the Big D the universe opened up to me and said.  “Here you go, Red.  Take this and this and this and this and this. It’s all yours. It’s free.”  I’ve been blessed by so much friendship and opportunity.  It’s overwhelming in a really good way.

So friends ….. if I ask your forgiveness for not posting for two weeks, catch you up to date, and start where I am, will you promise not to leave me?

Good , that’s settled.

  • I’m staying here on this ranch
  • My social media business is taking off
  • I’m working part-time for a local restaurant as social media guru/computer guide/Saturday night hostess.
  • I’m riding everyday
  • I’m loving my life

OK we’re good now,  right?

Love,  Cowgirl-Red   aka Terah

P.S.  I thank you all and appreciate your support and kind words. You lifted me up and held on to me through my sadness.  XOXOXOXO  I think I’m on the other side of it now.  Let’s ride!

  4. I was hunting leopards by the way. Got a couple. We used the toughest or dumbest dogs I ever say. When the big dogs backed off, we sent in two Jack Russels to piss off the leopard into coming out of his cave and climbing a tree. Bad move by the cat as I have his skin and he does not have mine.

Have fun working. The rest of us do this so we can play.
